To succeed the Lodgy minivan, Dacia is changing its mind and will launch at the start of 2022 a breaker-style breaker named Jogger. However, the recipe is not new, as the 2006 Logan MCV Steppe concept car bears witness to. The Heuliez Edelweiss prototype but also the Lada Largus Cross too.

Steppe Concept: the inspiration behind the Jogger?
However, the idea of a family station wagon with 7 places giving an eye to leisure vehicles is not new.. While it was obviously too early to display a Y-shaped light signature at the time, the projectors and lights of the Steppe concept already displayed a high-tech spirit by means of worked LEDs.
In addition, the black decoration around the windows on the hinged rear doors made it look like a hatchback. Finally the surname Steppe gave birth to the Stepway finish. Like what, at Dacia, we have the same precept as the chemist Antoine Laurent de Lavoisier: “Nothing is lost, nothing is created: everything is transformed”. Recycling is what makes the strength of Dacia the brand, no longer low-cost, but now called essential of the Renault group.
Heuliez Edelweiss: when the Logan takes altitude?
Moreover, Dacia was not the only architect of the transformation of the Logan MCV. Clever, Heuliez, the bodybuilder from Cerizay (79) covers the car with an integral white paint, like the mountain flower growing in altitude, the fitting of alloy rims and cuts out its roof which is replaced by a canvas cover. While a tailgate allowing the rise of a quad at the rear of the passenger compartment finalizes the car now fully focused on leisure. Lada Largus Cross: the parallel route?
Finally, we will find parallel to the Dacia Jogger, on the Russian market, the Lada Largus Cross which is none other than a Logan MCV with the look of an SUV with an “X” muzzle.
