To celebrate the 2 million Dacia Duster sold since 2010, the Romanian manufacturer unveiled a new Mat Edition version at the Paris Motor Show. Available to order from the end of 2022, it marks the end of the SUV’s career, the replacement of which will be presented in the fall of 2023.
On April 20, 2022, Dacia produced its 10 millionth vehicle since the birth of the brand in 1968 and it was a Duster Extreme. Failing to be the manufactured vehicle, the Carpathian SUV climbs on the third step of the podium (2.1 m) behind the Sandero (2.6 m) and the 1300 range (2.3 m). The performance is noteworthy because the Duster has reached this figure in twelve years.

A very limited series
To mark the occasion, the manufacturer is presenting a new Matt Edition livery at the Paris Motor Show. It is based on the Journey finish and is mainly distinguished by its aesthetics, starting with the matt gray shade. Dressed up like a prince, the Duster adopts 17” black alloy rims, gloss black mirrors underlined by an orange border, Megalith Gray roof bars and a “shark” roof aerial, a novelty on the model that the we will find on his successor.

Recognizable by its matt gray hue, this series will be available to order at the end of the year.
Inside the passenger compartment, the seats are dressed in specific upholstery with orange stitching, while floor mats and door sills complete the equipment. Published in less than 1,500 copies according to our information, the Duster Edition Mat will be available to order from the end of 2022 with a single engine: the 1.3 TCe 150 EDC 4×2. Aficionados of the brand had better not hang around to afford it.
