A year after its restyling, the Duster 2 offers a second facelift to better accommodate the new Dacia logo. The Romanian SUV is taking the opportunity to review its range of finishes and some of its equipment, with a price increase along the way. LPG remains temporarily unavailable.
Two restylings in one year, it’s not trivial. Like the rest of the Dacia range, the second generation of Duster has just revised its look in small touches, culminating in a unique grille featuring the brand’s new logo. However, the exterior is not the only one to evolve. In the passenger compartment, the air vents become rectangular, Jogger-style, while the upholstery adopts new designs. As for the range, it is completely overhauled, with finishing names now in English. The entry-level Essential is thus renamed Essential and sees its price increase by €510 in passing. Count 18,500 € minimum with the diesel dCi 115 in two-wheel drive. If orders are already open, you will have to wait until November to see the first deliveries arrive.

Enriched equipment for the high Journey finish
The rise is identical on the high Journey finish, which replaces the old Prestige level. But the most expensive Duster takes care of its endowment by gaining electrically folding mirrors and automatic wipers. Another progress its standard integrated navigation system now benefits from Western Europe mapping at no extra charge, with a free update period that increases from 90 days to 3 years. The price-equipment ratio therefore appears to be improved and allows the Dacia SUV to remain practically unrivaled despite regular price increases.
Only MG Motor really tackled it with the thermal version of its ZS; an SUV accessible at €16,990 with an atmospheric 105 hp 1.5 or at €20,490 with a more modern 1.0 turbo at €20,490. But the image of the Sino-British brand remains to be (re)built in France, and the distribution network is far from being as extensive. Finally, note that a Journey+ “Up & Go” version is also still offered on the basis of this Journey finish, with the promise of shorter delivery times. However, it imposes an additional cost of €500 and only exists with the Blue dCi 115.
