Renault 4 and its derivative objects in the spotlight at Atelier Renault

Renault is celebrating the Renault 4, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, in its Parisian exhibition center on the Champs-Elysées.

For its sixty years, the Renault 4 is in the spotlight in the Parisian showroom of Losange. In the heart of the Champs-Elysées, Atelier Renault exhibits the electrified “R4-1” in the colors of the Presidency of the Republic. The place offers for sale many objects derived from the famous 4L.

2021 is definitely the year of the 4L! Renault is celebrating sixty years of its R4, with a number of events: exhibition of the most emblematic models in Flins, parade at the Cannes Film Festival… This summer, the brand’s Parisian showroom, Atelier Renault is also paying tribute to it with a single copy on display.

The electrified R4-1 on display

The exhibition space, located at 53 of the legendary avenue des Champs-Elysées in Paris, indeed hosts the R4-1. This special 4L, equipped with an electric motor and in the colors of the French Presidency, was unveiled at the end of June during Emmanuel Macron’s visit to the Renault factory in Douai (59). The transformation into an electric model was carried out in the Netherlands. On the white bodywork adorned with tricolor stickers, we can also see an “R4 – 1” logo, or in English “air four one” or even “air fourth one”. A humorous nod to the United States presidential plane named Air Force One is found on the screen placed in the background of the Renault Workshop.

In addition, this space is also dedicated to the sale of derivative objects. Already well supplied in spring with original kits, cups and miniatures, the collection of objects has grown for the birthday of the sixty-year-old city-dweller. T-shirts, key rings, umbrellas, coveralls, stationery, masks… The various objects adopt bright colors ranging from bright blue to sparkling orange.
