Start of a strike on January 29
And for them, this incident was the straw that broke the camel’s back. They write: “In this context of contempt for young doctors, the ISNI reaffirms its opposition to the text and warns the ministry of the hardening of the movement by submitting a strike notice (unlimited) for January 29. “In addition, they call for the organization of events from this date in all boarding schools in France.
In fact, the interns demand, like the liberal doctors’ unions, “a total rewrite” of the text. They oppose, for example, the management of their internship by the local authority.
Article 38 of the Health Law indeed introduces the possibility for local authorities (regions, departments, municipalities, etc.) to intervene in the training of interns.
On this question, ISNI wondered early January : “What educational considerations will these communities have if it is not to have young doctors, cheap labor, in local hospitals which have so much difficulty in recruiting practitioners. This measure is ineptitude and the best way to degrade the excellence of our training and the quality of care provided to patients. “
A precarious status of substitute practitioner
Another reason for the anger, these interns cannot accept that “the only prospect of employment in the public hospital is that of a precarious status of replacement hospital practitioner (PH). “
The text of the Minister of Health creates, it is true, a statute of replacement PH having vocation to send doctors for limited periods in establishments in difficulty of recruitment.

The right to freedom of installation threatened
The last reason for their grumbling, the interns cannot accept being “the sacrificed generation of freedom of installation.” According to them, the health law would break all the barriers at this level.
