October 6, 2008 – Radio-Canada launches a real plea in favor of health, as part of a major radio series entitled Live differently, broadcast from October 6 to 10, 2008 and also accessible via a website1.
Three keywords set the tone for this series: empowerment, prevention and alternative approaches.
The project manager, journalist Mario Proulx, conducted more than 50 interviews with leading specialists in physical, psychological and spiritual health. He gave the floor to the Buddhist monk and interpreter of the Dalai Lama, Matthieu Ricard; to psychiatrist and researcher David Servan-Schreiber; to cardiologist Dr Martin Juneau; to researcher Richard Béliveau; to psychoanalyst Guy Corneau; and many others.
Through five episodes, Mario Proulx addresses important themes such as healing and self-healing, changing lifestyle habits to live longer in better health, overall health through the integration of conventional and alternative medicines, as well as physical and professional exhaustion.
Live differently, it is also a book published by Bayard editions, which brings together 11 of the main interviews carried out for the radio series.
