The Block Zone, a competitor of Lego, offers a Citroën 2CV to assemble in a scale of 1:12, and it can be remote controlled. The kit includes over 1,200 pieces. Count around 90 € for the version without motor.
Lego has long been emulated, and among other manufacturers of miniatures to build with plastic bricks is The Block Zone. Despite a certain opacity as to its location and the origin of its parts in particular, this alternative to the Danish brand is gaining notoriety and offers alternative vehicles including a Citroën 2CV which can be, as an option, remote controlled. Unlike most The Block Zone models reproducing real cars, the “Deuche” has an official license from the manufacturer according to its description.
A 2CV of more than 1,200 parts
This 2CV is in scale 1:12 and measures approximately 31cm in length when assembled. It is made up of 1,238 parts. The doors, hood and trunk open, the steering is functional and several accessories accompany the vehicle such as a suitcase to be attached to the trunk or a vintage camera. The latter, like the yellow color of the vehicle, could be a nod to the 2CV driven by James Bond in the film. Just for your eyes from 1981. This basic model costs € 89.95 including shipping.
