Keeping a seated position throughout the day can compress your intercostal muscles, a group of muscles located between your ribs. Standing up regularly and taking a few breaths helps relax them.
On your chair, do a few stretching by tilting your head on one side then the other. Roll your shoulders and wrists as well, then perform the same movements engaging your ankles and knees.

Make large circles forwards and backwards with your arms. Inhale as your elbows rise upward, then make sure to exhale on the descent.
