Now that you are not sure whether restaurants or eateries are open, it is useful to have something to eat and drink with you when you go out. But what do you take with you if you don’t want to fall into sugary and unhealthy snacks? How about these smoked chicken wraps?
Ingredients
-
4 (whole wheat) wraps
-
2 tablespoons crème frache
-
Pinch of smoked paprika powder
-
100 grams smoked chicken breast
-
1 pointed pepper (green, yellow or red)
-
100 grams of small roma tomatoes
-
1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
-
1 small fresh red pepper
-
1 small clove of garlic, if desired
-
2 handfuls of baby spinach
Preparation
Spread the wraps out on the counter. Mix the crème frache with paprika and some salt and spread it over the wraps. Cut the chicken breast into strips. Cut the bell pepper into rings. Chop half of the tomatoes very finely and cut the rest into quarters. Mix the chopped tomatoes with the tomato ketchup to form a salsa. Cut the pepper into pieces and mix with the salsa. Squeeze the garlic over the top and season with salt and optionally some smoked paprika. Divide the spinach leaves over the wraps and place the tomato wedges, chicken and bell pepper on top. Spread the tomato salsa over it. Roll each wrap tightly. Make sure the bottom of the wrap is well folded. Roll the wraps in sandwich or baking paper and put them in a drum to take away. Also add some napkins.
