If the idea is disastrous, it fortunately does not interest many people… Until the Food and drug administration (FDA) issues an alert on the risks associated with cooking syrupand make the recipe famous, tell it New York Times.

The video platform is customary because: a healthy coke made with vinegar, another “dirty soda”, or even a happy mixture of water and baking soda to lose weight… In short, needless to say that they are to be avoided.

But this time around, the NyQuil Chicken didn’t seem to be circulating all that much. Tiktok said it recorded 5 searches before the FDA notice published on September 15. After ? 7,000 netizens tried to get poultry ingredients at Vicks NyQuil.

Dangerous cooking

Not very smart, especially since the FDA warned of the dangers associated with cooking this drug used against the flu or even a cold, when coughing. She specified that boiling this type of liquid could increase the effects and therefore be harmful to the health of those who cook or eat it. Because the vapors are already harmful to the lungs.

She detailed the different compounds of the drug, namely paracetamol, which can damage the liver if it is too concentrated. Or an antihistamine, doxylamine, which causes drowsinessand dextromethorphan which causes psychotropic effects.
