An American start-up Breath Research has developed an audio headset that collects the physiological data of the user who wears it. This new technological tool could improve well-being, by regulating stress and facilitating sleep for example.
This ultra design and sleek acoustic headset is equipped with the Bluetooth function and several sensors. Intelligent, it is able to analyze the breathing, heart rate, and oxygenation rate of the wearer. A microphone picks up the rhythms of the breath, while optical sensors record the pulse. It also examines certain environmental parameters, such as altitude, positioning and barometric pressure. All this data is grouped and stored on the user’s smartphone in order to provide a global view of his state of health and well-being. This information will be tracked by the My Breath App, a solution capable of providing tailored strategies, based on precise user data.
This headset could help you relieve stress, improve athletic performance, achieve weight loss goals and get better sleep. A true health and well-being ally.
Breath Research seeks to finance this technological innovation via the Indiegogo crowdfunding platform. If you participate in the project for up to 200 €, you will receive a preview of the first Breath Acoustics headphones in December 2014.
