From November 5 to 7, Epoqu’auto – Exhibition dedicated to old vehicles – brings together in Lyon no less than 800 exhibitors over an area of 700,000 m². Contrary to Peugeot and Citroën, which do not officially exhibit models but participating in the event by loaning vehicles to the clubs, Renault has put the small dishes in the big ones.

About fifteen models are exhibited at the Salon Epoqu’auto in Lyon. They are easily accessible.
The 4L exhibition relocated to Lyon
The manufacturer has thus assembled around fifteen 4Ls. On a black carpet, with a very colorful decoration, the firm presents several versions that marked the saga. These vehicles are the ones that Argus introduced you at the beginning of the year in a new video. To see or to review the:
- 4L Bye Bye (1992), the one that closed the chapter;
- Renault 4L Haute Couture (1963), recognizable by its red tartan pattern;
- Renault 4 Sixties (1985) and its double sunroof;
- 4L Van Darty (1986);
- 4L Saline 4 Fun (2011), author of a speed record on the salt lake;
- 4L Jogging in a retrofitted version, include 100% electric;
- R3 (1962) which, unlike the R4, does not have glass quarter panels.
Other desired birthdays
While Renault devotes its entire exhibition area to the R4, the clubs near the parent company’s stand pay tribute to other models and also celebrate birthdays. Thereby, we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Avantime. The model exhibited in green (Steppe) with its two-tone Amazon green leather was only produced to 27 copies in this configuration! The R15 and R17 are also featured on the occasion of their 50 years. Finally, the last anniversary celebrated on Epoqu’auto in 2021, that of the Alpine A310, which is also celebrating its 50th spring. With it, the Dieppe firm abandons the curves of the A110 for angular lines.
