Renault is preparing a flying 4L concept with The Arsenale. Called Air4, the vehicle can be seen in video before a full presentation scheduled for November 26, 2021. Its design is part of the 60th anniversary of the R4.
The Arsenale is an online sales and communication platform dedicated to both exclusive and atypical vehicles that roll, float or fly. Renault is joining forces to present an unexpected concept for the 60e anniversary of the Renault 4. The vehicle in question is called Air4 and is announced with a video teaser.
A futuristic R4 can hide another
At first glance, from the front, the Air4 concept looks like a restomod or neo-retro 4L with circle-shaped headlamps underlined by vertical LED lights at the corners of its front bumper. We note in passing that this light signature differs from that of the future Renault 4Ever. But a few details, such as light elements deported far to the sides under the bodywork, indicate that the Air4 is a… flying car! More precisely, the concept takes the architecture of an aerial drone, on which an updated 4L body is attached.
