The Lyon Motor Show offers some entertainment for the public. L’argus offers you an overview of the exhibitions (Alpine competition, 50 years of the Renault 5…) and other activities to be carried out on site until April 11th.

The concepts and other surprises on display
So at Renault and Dacia, you can approach two concept cars announcing future models. There is the Bigster, which faithfully foreshadows a future 7-seater model in the manufacturer’s range in 2025, and the R5 Prototype which shows what the future 100% electric city car expected on our roads will look like in 2024. At DS too, we played the card of the future by bringing the ASL (Aero Sport Lounge). This SUV concept presents many stylistic novelties to follow on future models. Conversely, at Opel, we did something offbeat by exhibiting a battery-powered prototype dating from 1971.
The hall of opportunities
Failing to offer you a new model, you could leave behind the wheel of a used vehicle. For the first time in its history, the Lyon automotive event is offering a hall dedicated to second-hand vehicles. On 10,000 m² several players (Spoticar, Auto Bernard, Vulcain, Toyota…) exhibit their models. Note the presence of the Porsche dealer in Lyon, which offers a selection of sports cars via its “Approved” label.
Exhibitions not to be missed
Several themed exhibitions are organized as part of the Salon de Lyon. Let’s mention a retrospective around the Ford Mustang and another around the Renault 5. The latter was put together with the volunteers of the Epoqu’Auto show. About fifteen city cars from the most basic to the most sporty are to be discovered. Speaking of sports cars, Porsche Lyon (again!) offers an exhibition of the 8 generations of 911 whileAlpine has gathered its competition models : from the A110 R-GT to the Cup via the endurance prototype and even the F1 2022. Entertainment for everyone
Finally, the Show also offers visitors its share of entertainment. You can try your hand at driving via driving simulators, be the fastest to change an F1 wheel thanks to the pit-stop challenge or even practice improving your eco-driving on a test track located outdoors. For those who prefer soft mobility, tests of bicycles, scooters and other electric motorcycles are also possible.
