Warm and relaxed feet
During a staff outing we walked 12 kilometers. I come home with pain in my feet. Fortunately the Skunkx are waiting for me. Could these self-heating slippers do something for my feet?
What is it?
The Skunkx is a foot warmer and massager in one. The slipper has two heating levels: normal and extra warm. The extra warm position provides constant warmth for people with extremely cold feet.
The combination of massage and active heating is a great way to relieve sore and strained feet. The massage function can also be used separately.
What does it promise?
The Skunkx warms and massages the feet. This stimulates blood circulation, so you never have cold feet again. Skunkx provide warm and relaxed feet for hours. The massage revitalizes sore and tired feet.
Does it work?
It absolutely works. The Skunkx are wonderfully warm and the massage is a blessing for my aching feet. They are very easy to operate; even my 3 year old daughter knows how it works right away. The Skunkx are of good quality. The inside of sheep’s wool feels nice and soft. It is a real luxury product.
Are there any drawbacks?
It all sounds very nice, but are there no disadvantages at all? Yes, the price! I don’t think there are many people who can – or want to – pay the amount of 219 euros just for a few ‘slippers’.
The Skunkx can now also be found at a large number of home care stores in the Netherlands for an amount between 189-219 euros.
Furthermore, Skunkx are relatively heavy (think of mountaineering boots), while they are loose around the feet. This can lead to dangerous situations, especially on the stairs. But according to Coen Lauwerijssen of Skunkx, this has already been included in the plans.
