I’ve read about you and the results of your lifestyle associated with high sugar. My blood sugar, blood pressure and weight are fine. However, my bad cholesterol is 3.9. My good cholesterol is good. I’d rather not take any drugs. Is the lifestyle as you describe also suitable for lowering my bad cholesterol?
My age is 70 and I go to the gym twice a week. I really like having a few glasses of red wine on the weekend, with French cheese on whole wheat bread. Should I stop this?

Good to hear that you are so conscious of your lifestyle and health; if only everyone did!
Yes, the SLIM lifestyle is certainly good for lowering total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol (also called bad cholesterol). It is also good for your blood pressure. I have dozens of patients in my clinic who have started living a lot healthier instead of medication. The result? Without medication a very nice blood pressure and a nice cholesterol profile. The best part about this is that patients heal themselves. It is important to follow the advice strictly, otherwise it only works halfway.
Good luck!
