At any age, masturbation has its place in sexuality.
Whether you are single or in a couple, whether alone or with your partner, masturbation is practiced by a large majority of men and women. Being able to have fun allows you to know yourself better.
Who does masturbation?
If masturbation is still mainly practiced by men (about 80% of 18 to 34 year olds), it also concerns more and more women with up to 64% who have already practiced and liked it.
If this difference concerns all countries, female masturbation has also increased significantly throughout the world in recent decades, since it was only 19% in the 1970s. If the under 30s are the most active, all ages are affected.
Why do we masturbate?
Beyond the search for pleasure, masturbation allows you to better know your body and how it works, especially for women. Whether practiced solo or as a couple, it is personal without competing with other practices, on the contrary it can even help excite the partner.
Masturbation is therefore part of sexuality and should not be seen as a deception or a betrayal, but on the contrary a solitary moment which also has its place.
