The holidays are an opportunity to question your certainties to better question yourself in order to move forward.
It is during your summer break, away from the hassle of everyday life and when you are listening to yourself that your intuition is most expressed. Getting to know yourself better and trusting you will help you make choices and decisions from the start of the school year.
Intuition or emotional intelligence?
We all have the ability to appeal to our intuition. Often perceived as mystical, it is actually a reflection of our emotional intelligence, that is to say our ability to identify and manage our emotions.
If it is most often experienced in the stomach or the whole body, it is because it appeals to all our senses in addition to the most archaic parts of our brain which house memory and emotions. This “instinct” or this “sixth sense” is actually based on the analysis of multiple bodily and cerebral information.
How to cultivate it on a daily basis?
The secret of intuition lies in letting go, that is to say the short-circuit of the prefrontal cortex which acts as a “controller” or a “policeman” of our emotions, thus letting your creativity express itself without limit. By letting your feelings fully express themselves, you will be able to project yourself emotionally, and therefore intuitively, into the situation and make the decisions that arise from it.
You can develop your intuition throughout life by developing the perception of your environment, both sensory, spatial, temporal or conceptual. Just like a child, try to regain some curiosity by observing the situation that presents itself to you. By opening you up to your five senses in the present moment, you help your brain make associations and give you an intuitive response.
