The way to get to losing weight may seem like an obstacle course. However, it is possible to gradually change your habits to slim down little by little.
Doctors strongly advise against turning to specific diets, especially if they are restrictive, when they are not followed by a health professional. These can be harmful to the body. and self-esteem.
Foods “friendly” for weight loss
Instead, they recommend gradually changing eating and exercise habits. It is preferable to cook for yourself, to tend towards whole starchy foods, seasonal fruits and vegetables, and to limit sugary and fatty products. As part of breakfast, do not hesitate to taste porridge (made with oatmeal or buckwheat), wholemeal bread slices (such as rye), hard cheeses, scrambled eggs and fresh fruit and vegetable smoothies.
The essential physical activity
It is also recommended to include at least 30 min of sports practice every day. If it is not easy to dedicate time to sport every day, do not hesitate to go to work by bike or on foot if possible, to favor the steps to the elevators, or to get up a few minutes earlier to stretch.
