On many sites it is possible to right click on an image to download it. However, this is not always and everywhere possible. However, such an image is often present in some form in the browser’s cache. This is also the location to search through if you remember seeing a particular image recently but not on which site. Unfortunately, the browser cache is often not too clear. Fortunately there is ImageCacheViewer with which you can search the cache of Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome to copy images and find the corresponding URL.
