A Citroën Traction Faux-Cabriolet, fitted with a V6 PRV engine and correspondingly revised ground connections, is for sale in Moselle. The owner of this rare but transformed model asks for € 47,000.
From the 1930s, the Citroën Traction was available in several body styles by the chevron brand, such as a utility hatchback version or a coupe officially named Faux-Cabriolet. The latter, produced in a few hundred units and forgotten by many, is very rare today. A copy is currently for sale in Mondelange, in Moselle. Modernized in its look as in its mechanics, it could interest restomods or hot rod lovers while strangling purists.
A V6 Traction of nearly 200 hp
Aside from its more generous American-style rims than the original, its blue body color and metal exterior finish details, this Traction has more or less retained the look of the original Faux-Cabriolet, a look that would therefore only require small interventions to be found apparently.
Under the hood, it is quite different. The Citroën was fitted with a V6 PRV engine, developing 195 hp according to the seller and mated to an automatic gearbox. The chassis has been modified accordingly, the car has four disc brakes, and power steering has been installed. The car even has air conditioning.

This car has been exhibited at several events as evidenced by some videos on the Internet. According to the author of the classified ad, the coupe has traveled 33,000 km in this configuration. It is offered at a price of € 47,000 ; the seller says he is open to exchange proposals.
