Hope for treatment
“2018 is a pivotal year in terms of salaries,” according to the president of the Association as reported by AFP. Doctors and patients indeed base their hopes on dupilumab, a new molecule which is part of “biotherapies”. Intended for adults, it is currently in temporary use in several hospitals. “These are drugs that manage both to precisely target and block the key molecule or cell involved in the formation of eczema,” explains the Association Française de l’Eczema.
