iOS 15 has been here since this week. And there’s one feature you should check out, because it’s really worth checking out.
This last week iOS 15 was launched. We wrote about the new features of the system before. However, there is one feature that could be given a little more attention. If you are an iPhone fan then you already know Notes app. And then you know how good it is, and this app just got even better.
Check iOS 15 feature
Tap notes. Use it if you would like to save a brilliant idea. Or in advance to type and save a text message. Or to prepare a short presentation in advance. You can do it all, and more, with Notes and its new features in iOS 15.
You could already assign a password to your individual notes. Yet very few people know that. So it’s actually a decent password protection alternative, and free to boot. Actually, Apple should say that it is a super secure protector, because you need not only the password/Touch ID/Face ID to get on the iPhone, but also the password for the locked note.
Also, it updates almost instantly on all your Apple devices, so the text-heavy note you enter on your Mac is usable on your iPhone a few seconds later. Super handy. But Notes just got even better.
New
Starting Monday, you can add tags to your notes, making it easier to categorize things. The search engine within Notes is already decent, but suppose you forget your keyword to search for…Tags add extra convenience. And there’s a tag browser so you can see all the tags in one place.
In a shared note, for which the app is frequently used, you can attract attention by adding @ and then their name. This will notify these people of a change. There is also a new activity view. This shows a summary of the changes since you last viewed the note. Ideal.
