Senior Publications Nederland bv (SPN) is the publisher of, among other things, the largest monthly magazine in the Netherlands: Plus Magazine. Target group: over 50s. In addition to paper magazines, we also publish digital products, such as the major consumer websites PlusOnline.nl, Gezondheidsnet.nl and Fietsen123.nl, newsletters, digital magazines and apps. We are looking for a technical project coordinator online for our various online activities.
The tasks of the technical project coordinator online (Baarn location) include:
- the coordination of rebuilding two major audience websites (in Drupal), including content migration
- coordinating the implementation of a new mail and campaign system (Selligent Cloud)
- assist in the selection and implementation of a new email database system
- coordination of technical maintenance and further development of various websites, mail systems and other digital products (including apps, digital magazines, etc.)
- linking various technical systems and web tools
- testing and fine-tuning digital systems within the organization
- research & development for new technical projects
- coordination of GDPR implementation in ¬the online department
we are looking for someone
- with a completed HBO education, for example information science
- with at least two years of work experience
- who is not only a thinker but also a doer
- with feeling for technology and content
- who can properly analyze and understand processes and needs
- who sets up, coordinates and completes projects
- who can identify and solve problems
- who can provide technical advice to (web) editors, marketers and other stakeholders in the organization
You supervise various projects based on your knowledge of the organization and the processes that are important in it. You are able to understand technology surrounding online activities (although you don’t have to program yourself) and explain it to others. You communicate with editors just as easily as you do with frontend and backend developers.
Experience in the publishing industry is a plus, but not a must. The same applies to experience with content management systems (Drupal, WordPress, Woodwing), databases, and campaign and mail systems.
