Opel is revamping the entire range of its Corsa, from April 1, 2022. As a result, price variations ranging from – 600 to + 750 €. The German city car also features a new gear selector on the automatic transmission versions.
Unlike other Opel models, the prices of the different versions of the Corsa do not necessarily increase. These now range between €16,400 and €36,100. The city car had already seen a general increase in its prices in January 2022, but this time it is more a question of remodeling the range to ” take into account the tensions on the market ».
Notable differences
Here are the details of the major changes to the range compared to January 2022.
- A special “Connect” series temporarily replaces the basic Corsa finish. It is displayed at the same price (€16,400) but reinforces its standard equipment with a 7” screen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as well as manual air conditioning.
- The Elegance Business finish definitely replaces the Elegance level in the range, including for individuals, but becomes more expensive with all engines.
- The Diesel block is no longer available with the GS Line finish.
- The top of the range Ultimate drops by €450 and wins the Advanced City 180° pack.
- The Corsa-e range starts at €32,700, which is €700 more than before.

Some welcome improvements
More changes are coming with this update. The electric Corsa-e, for example, gains a 3.7 kWh Green Up cable at no additional cost. This means less time to charge your car, compared to the 1.8 kWh Mode 2 cable previously used.
The other modification concerns the gear lever of the automatic transmission. As on its cousin the Peugeot 208, the “Cobra” knob, which took up space on the central console, disappears in favor of the e-toggle. This was already present on the Opel Mokka and is becoming more widespread on all models of the Stellantis group.

Depending on the finishes and engines, the prices of the Corsa go up or down. The range is between €600 less and €750 more than in January.
