Prepare everything for the next day
For a serene and stress-free awakening, preparing your things the day before (as you prepared your satchel for school) allows you to fall asleep with peace of mind (yes, yes, it works). So, even if it means going to bed a few minutes later, planning your clothes as well as any documents or files that you will need, is to save time for the next day. And while you’re at it, you can also program your coffee machine or set the breakfast table.
Sleep well
We know that in order not to get up tired, you have to go to bed at regular times and have your sleep count, whether it’s 6, 7, 8 hours or more. Trouble falling asleep? Try herbal tea, a glass of hot milk or even a little relaxation or reading. Avoid: dine too heavily and drink alcohol. But also: doing computer or crossword puzzles … in short, anything that requires strong light and concentration. And for a healthy night’s sleep, it is better to sleep with the window half-open, the ideal bedroom temperature being around 19 °.
Waking up gradually
A dawn simulator or music will be less aggressive than the shrill ringing of an alarm clock or the information, rarely optimistic and that can be listened to later. Five minutes of stretching (standing or under the duvet) is enough to loosen the body, which has remained motionless all night. Then, when you get up, drink plenty of water to hydrate and cleanse the body by eliminating the toxins accumulated at night. Finally, opening the window wide and breathing deeply two or three times allows you to oxygenate yourself. This also helps to ventilate the room!
