Due to its high price, the French coupe was not selected in 2020 in favor of the Cupra Leon. But national sentiment has led to a new call for tenders which should conclude in the fall of 2021 with the purchase of 36 A110s.

Alpine and the gendarmerie, it is a long history which goes back to the end of the Sixties. At the time, the gendarmes choose theAlpine A110 to equip their fleet with rapid intervention vehicles. It will be replaced a few years later by theAlpine A310, then by theAlpine GTA.
Since 2011, the rapid intervention brigade (BRI) has had Renault Mégane RS, the engine of which has been reworked compared to the production model. Perhaps the new Mégane RS, expected at the end of 2017, could also be of interest to the gendarmerie. Who knows ?
