Relax in five minutes
A facial massage is wonderfully relaxing. You forget the daily stress for a while and then you can deal with it again. You can perform a facial massage at any time of the day and anywhere. For example, during the lunch break at work, on the train or just when you have five minutes to spare.
A facial massage can stress, tensions, headache and take away exhaustion and give a very relaxed feeling. It calms the nerves, improves circulation and gives the skin a healthy glow. The massage will leave you feeling greatly refreshed and looking younger.
Massage all over your face
Put your hands on your face. The palms of your hands are on your chin and your fingers are on your forehead. Then slowly begin to stroke your hands toward your ears. Then place the fingertips of your middle fingers and your index fingers on your forehead together. Slowly pull them to your temples and make a circle there.
In this way you massage your entire forehead from top to bottom. You take your eyebrows with you. Then continue under your eyes. You start at your nose and massage again by stroking the sides of your face with your fingers. Above your lips you do the same, as well as under your lips.
Massage your eyebrows
Start at your eyebrows and squeeze gently. Work from your nose outwards. Stroke along and above the eyebrows with your index and middle fingers. Then make circles on your temples with flat fingers. It is best to apply some pressure here. Close your eyes and you will feel more relaxed.
Massage your eyes
This is a good massage for tired eyes. Place your palms on your forehead and apply a lot of pressure. In the meantime, close your eyes. Place your index fingers on your eyelids and stroke outwards. Place your index and middle fingers under the eyes and slide them out. Repeat this stroke a number of times. You start under your eyes each time and go down over your jaws each time.
Jaw and lip massage
Make circles across your jaws with flat fingers. Feel free to put some pressure here too. After this, slide your index and middle fingers out over your upper lip. You do the same with your lower lip. You can also grab your chin between your index finger and thumb using two hands. Then make squeezing movements along your jawline.
Massage your cheeks
Place your thumbs on either side of your nose and hold them there for a few seconds. Then run your thumbs over your cheekbone to the sides up to your ears and down in strips.
Massage your ears
Run your middle finger up and down behind your ear. Afterwards, gently squeeze your earlobes and let your fingers slip. To end the massage, slide your fingers into your ears. Now you will not hear any outside noises and experience a moment of silence. Hold this for a minute.
Massage your chin
Slap your chin with the tops of your fingers.
