Yesterday I saw a program on TV sponsored by Slankbrood. Of course I looked on the internet what Slim Bread is, but I wonder if it is indeed that much better than the regular wholemeal bread that I eat every day? There happens to be a shop near me that sells it, so I could pick it up. Is the Slim Bread really recommended? I’d love to hear your opinion!

Slim bread is made from teff grain. This grain contains slow carbohydrates that, like whole grains, cause a slow rise in your blood sugar.
The Slim Bread contains slightly fewer calories than whole wheat bread (31 kcal less), but the same amount of fiber. However, the Slim bread is more expensive than whole wheat bread. You can buy it once and see if it’s for you, in any case it can hurt. However, the effect on your blood sugar is the same as with whole wheat bread, and the fiber is just as healthy.
