A Healthy Conversation with Professor of Vitality David van Bodegom
You can resolve to exercise more and eat healthy, but sooner or later many good intentions fail. We don’t have to rely on our willpower either, says Professor of Vitality David van Bodegom, who works at Leyden Academy On Vitality and Aging. He says that it is much smarter to organize your environment in such a way that you automatically start living a healthier life. That’s called ‘nudging’, giving yourself nudge in the right direction.
From your kitchen to your bedroom, from your home to your workplace, David provides tips and tricks to design your environment in such a way that healthier living becomes much easier. Any examples of his tips? Have your employer invest heavily in your health, always keep climbing stairs, remove the carrots from the vegetable drawer and clear your bedroom of screens. Listen to this podcast and you will suddenly see your environment with different eyes!
