Appeared in 2019, the third-generation Ford Kuga SUV will go through the mid-career restyling box in 2022. A longer hood for the Kuga
The cosmetic evolution of the Kuga will bring it more sportiness by means of an enlarged grille, enhancing in relief, and positioned a tad higher than on the current version. Under the hood, hybrid engines (standard and rechargeable) will gain in autonomy in electric mode but will not progress from a power point of view and pure performance. It’s not necessary. For the record, the Ford Kuga hybrid, whose trade name is FHEV, has 200 hp, while the plug-in (rechargeable) variant, called PHEV, develops 225 hp. The Ford Kuga non-rechargeable hybrid already has the advantage of being able to drink E85 bioethanol. On the French market, it is a masterstroke.
