Like a spider’s web, the fascia compartmentalize each structure of our body, while connecting them together. This connective tissue which enters into many physiological mechanisms (cell nutrition, immunity …) would have the particularity of being very sensitive to all stresses, physical or psychological, in the face of which it tenses up, retracts. “Normally the fasciae relax. But often, physical and psychological tensions are accumulated, and the fasciae remain tense, causing pains, a feeling of muscle shell, and can disrupt the proper functioning of the organ ”, continues the practitioner.
