It’s certainly not the first time a cameraman has been slapped for wanting to get too close to the action, but this is quite exceptional. Here you can see a camera helicopter trying to get a good close-up of a Kamaz truck during the Dakar of 2021. What the pilot does not take into account is that the Dakar truck makes a jump over a bump and comes up. The Kamaz hits the landing gear. The sheet metal and air intake of the Kamaz were damaged and the helicopter will undoubtedly also have some things, but fortunately it ends well.
