Pay millions for a private plane, or spend much less on your own helicopter?
Successful artists, athletes and entrepreneurs with deep pockets. They all use a private jet to travel from A to B around the world. That is not a cheap hobby. Operating a private jet can easily cost several million euros. It can be much cheaper with a private helicopter. Not as deployable as an airplane, but the purchase price is much lower.
The world’s first private helicopter comes from Hill. A company based in the United Kingdom. Most helicopters are ugly square cubicles on the inside. Not this Hill. The Hill HX50 can be specified by owners entirely to their own taste.
There is an iPad integrated in the cabin and you have a panoramic view from the helicopter. In addition, there are beautiful chairs so that you can be taken from A to B in all comfort. The private helicopter has 400 horsepower and a top speed of 260 kilometers per hour. You can travel a maximum of 1,296 kilometers on a full tank of fuel.
The Hill HX50 will be launched next year. The price starts at 595,000 euros. Through an online configurator you can already assemble the helicopter.
