If you choose a car with your heart and not with your mind (because honestly: nobody needs a V12), you might as well choose a color with your heart. And what could be cooler than a color named after a Venusaur attack. That is why we are extremely in favor of producing cars such as the Mercedes-AMG S 65 in colors such as Solarbeam Yellow, such as this one. In 2017, this car was still for sale for just under 400,000 euros.
We are now four years plus almost 30,000 kilometers further and the price has more than halved. With 36,000 kilometers on the clock, this S-class with a long wheelbase should yield 169,940 euros. A small side note is the seller. That is the famous (or infamous?) Jet Cars from Rotterdam. If you have half an hour of nothing to do, look for reviews and experiences. There is even talk of sawdust in the engine just like in the children’s book Matilda. You will not be disappointed.
Mercedes-AMG S 65 in Solarbeam Yellow: what exactly do you get?
What do you get if you dare to take a gamble? A bright yellow Mercedes S-class with a long wheelbase and a V12 engine with two turbos. The 6.0-liter twelve-cylinder produces 629 hp. This should be good for a 0-100 time of 4.3 seconds and a limited top speed of 250 km/h. One advantage: with this Mercedes the rims do not cost 50 bucks extra. The V12 version always has rear-wheel drive. If you want four-wheel drive in your S-class AMG, then you should look for the S 63 with four-wheel drive.
