-It is often said that desire decreases over the years. Here is a series of statements about desire. For each line and using the cursor, indicate whether you agree more with one or the other of the statements.
The decline in desire over the years seems to be inevitable within the couple (for 2 women out of 3) and despite the fact that they hope that it is only punctual (78%) and that it is not necessarily the proof a lack of love (69%), nearly 7 out of 10 women (67%) still consider it problematic (67%). Nearly 1 in 4 women think they can “deal with it” (39% of them don’t mind).
This drop in desire is considered even more problematic among those under 35 (85% of 15-24 and 76% of 25-34) who also imagine having more difficulty supporting it (it is unbearable for 72% to 79% between them).
The over 50s, for their part – and probably because of their longer experience of life as a couple and in fact, their broader expectations – seem to put things into perspective more (nearly 1 in 2 believe that this has not doesn’t matter and they don’t mind).
