The rays of the sun are often welcome for relieve eczema (also called atopic dermatitis) because UV rays have an anti-inflammatory effect and soothe flare-ups. But if we are not careful, the sun can turn out to be a false friend because it also promotes water loss and accentuates the feeling of dry skin and tightness. Age spots, also called lentigo, are brown spots, more or less large, which generally appear after 40 years on the most exposed areas of the body: the back of the hands, the neckline or the face. When pregnant, your body makes even more hormones, leading to increased melanin synthesis. As soon as we are exposed to the sun, these pigments responsible for tanning, disturbed by hormones, rise in the greatest disorder from the deep layers of the skin to the surface of the epidermis.
