Learn to love and know yourself, and if that was the secret to reaching orgasm?
If half of French women have difficulty reaching orgasm during intercourse, it is because female sexual desire is not only physical, but also linked to self-confidence and mental load. Being too preoccupied with ruminations prevents you from finding your pleasure.
Put aside intrusive thoughts
This decline in women’s sexual and orgasmic satisfaction does not only concern French women but also many women around the world. One of the main explanations is that they cannot find sufficient psychological relaxation to enjoy the present moment. Mainly due to the mental load, and the fact of feeling invaded by intrusive or negative thoughts which prevent them from devoting themselves to their pleasure.
These intrusive negative thoughts can also revolve around physical appearance and fear of judgment that the partner may carry. About half of women who are moderately satisfied with their physique often have difficulty reaching orgasm.
What if certain practices had to be questioned?
Putting the pleasure of the man before that of the woman is a “duty” still rooted in some couples and does not leave room for many women to explore their own pleasure. A sexuality still too focused on penetration that lacks clitoral simulation also contributes to blockage and frustration.
