How is oatmeal made? And why is it actually healthy?

The seeds of the oat plant are peeled to make them suitable for consumption. Oatmeal or oat flakes are grains that are sometimes crushed or toasted. The flakes can be cooked completely (instant oatmeal) or be steamed a little less. Oatmeal is often eaten with milk as porridge and is part of mixed breakfast products. Oat flakes are used in muesli.
Oats lower LDL cholesterol. Whole-grain cereals, such as whole-grain oats, are high in fiber and B vitamins. Consumption of whole grains is associated with a lower risk of heart disease. Oatmeal can be eaten cold or warm. Whether you eat it hot or cold, warm it up in the microwave or in a pan: oatmeal is healthy and is in the Wheel of Five.
