There are several varieties of vinegar that are used to enhance dishes, create beautiful salads and bring a strong and sometimes even scented taste dimension: red wine vinegar, rice vinegar, balsamic vinegar….
Useful in the kitchen but also for cleaning up the interior of houses, as we have all understood, vinegar has more than one string to its bow, but according to some research, it would also have therapeutic virtues.

The report in question cites numerous studies that have highlighted the antioxidant composition of vinegar. This information is not trivial given that antioxidants can be defined almost as the antidotes of oxidative stress. Free radicals are harmful to cell membranes, by fighting against them, by neutralizing them, antioxidants, in this case present in vinegar, could act positively on aging, on certain degenerative diseases and certain cancers.
But still, the report reveals other hidden secrets of the famous vinegar. It would play an important role in lowering blood sugar and insulinemia, which would benefit people with diabetes. Vinegar is also found to be a good antibacterial.
This sour remedy would have an impact on arterial hypertension which, let us remember, is a risk factor for cardiovascular disease. Finally, vinegar would have a certain influence on satiety and therefore reduce appetite.
The report calls for caution regarding the publication of these conclusions because, to be fully validated, additional studies are necessary.
While waiting for other revelations, there is no risk of skimping on the seasoning …
