The V8 Hotel near Stuttgart, Germany offers themed rooms and activities for car enthusiasts. It even includes prestigious car sales points. L’argus spent the night there and offers you a guided tour.
Motorworld is located in Böblingen, on the outskirts of Stuttgart in Germany, not far from the headquarters of Porsche and Mercedes. This 50,000 m² area brings together several buildings and activities dedicated to high-end automobiles. Within this area is installed the V8 Hotel, a themed establishment designed to appeal to sports car enthusiasts.
A hotel where to buy your prestigious car
The first thing you notice at the entrance to the V8 Hotel is that the main building incorporates a McLaren dealership as well as an Arthur Bechtel point of sale specializing in vintage Mercedes. The decoration of the hotel is in tune.
For example, an old Dodge pickup is used to separate the bar from the restaurant, and a 1960s Mercedes 280 SL is on display in front of the elevator doors. Murals immerse visitors in the atmosphere of the races of the first half of the 20th century. The conference rooms available for rent are named Power and Speed.
In addition to overnight stays and catering, the V8 Hotel offers many activity packs. Sports car rental, visit to the Porsche and Mercedes museums, preferential rates in luxury boutiques, flight simulator or even amusement park are among the offers thanks to the establishment’s integration into Motorworld and its partnerships with local brands.

Theme rooms
The V8 Hotel offers four types of rooms. The most affordable are called V6 and, apart from an image at the head of the bed, remain classic. However, there are certain details such as pens, chocolates or car-shaped soaps. In summer, count a little over 100 € for a night for two.
More original, the V8 rooms are 26 in number and each is decorated according to a unique theme. Some are dedicated to countries, such as the “Vive la France” room, the bed of which integrates the front part of a Citroën DS while a 2 CV on the background of a tricolor adorns the wall; then those which evoke Italy, the United Kingdom and Germany in the same spirit. The Ladybug from the Disney films is in the “Gas Station” room. Barn, drive-in cinema and Route 66 are some of the themes on offer. Prices for V8 rooms start at just under € 190 per night.
Then come the V10 apartments which, for a little over € 230 minimum in summer, each offer 46 m², a living room, a small kitchen and a terrace, among other things. But the pinnacle of the V8 Hotel’s offering is the V12 Mercedes suite, located in the control tower of the old airport on which Motorworld is built. It has four levels, a sauna and a large private terrace among others. Plan a little more than 600 € minimum to spend the night there. If you want to stay in a particular room, it is better to plan ahead to Reserve.
