To relieve pain through thermotherapy, Actipoche has designed its new range of thermal cushions based on clay of natural origin, suitable for different areas of the body. The clay is wrapped in a PVC envelope in order to relieve the painful area concerned. Depending on the type of pain, the use of Actipoche Argile thermal cushions can relieve pain by its hot or cold action.
The Actipoche Clay Multizone thermal cushion is designed for localized painful areas. Its ergonomic format allows it to relieve pain in specific areas of the body such as: the knee, the elbow, the shoulder. It is particularly indicated to relieve sprains, strains, blows and bruises, torticollis and lumbago, headaches, menstrual pain or toothache.
Hot uses:muscle contractures, back pain, torticollis, lumbago, menstrual pain.
Cold uses:sprains, strains, blows and bruises, headaches or toothaches.

Easy to use, each cushion must be prepared without its cover.
For cold use, place the cushion in the refrigerator or freezer, according to the cooling times indicated below:

For hot use, immerse the cushion in a container of hot water, not boiling, off the heat or in the microwave, according to the heating times indicated below:

Then insert the cushion into its cover. Apply the cushion in its cover to the painful area for a maximum of 20 minutes for cold use and up to 30 minutes for hot use. The cover is accompanied by straps, to ensure better support for the painful area.
Never immediately reheat an Actipoche thermal pad taken from the freezer. In order to avoid any overheating of the product, a ladle brought to temperature according to the indications above must not undergo a new heating cycle before having completely returned to ambient temperature.

What are the precautions for use?
– External use only.
– Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use in children under 24 months and in children with fragile skin. Use only under adult supervision
– Never apply directly to the skin, hot or cold: before any application, insert the cushion in the protective cover provided. Do not apply to injured skin, in the process of healing or irritated skin (eczema, etc.).
– In case of intolerance to cold or heat, interrupt the treatment
– Do not use hot, on bruises or bumps within 48 hours of injury, heat may aggravate swelling or bruising; hot, on an edema, on an inflamed area. Do not use in case of known allergy to any of the components; in case of hypersensitivity or allergy to cold; in case of thermal sensitivity deficit or in a paraplegic patient; in the event of neuropathy of the trigeminal nerve, Raynaud’s disease, malignant tumor of the area to be treated, urticaria, paroxysmal cold haemoglobinuria.
