Avène thermal spring water, soothing
According to legend, the powers of this water were discovered in 1736, when a horse with pruritus (itching) was miraculously cured after drinking and bathing in it every day. In 1874, the Academy of Medicine validated its therapeutic properties. It springs from the source of Sainte-Odile, in the Haut-Languedoc regional natural park (Hérault).
Its composition
Very weakly mineralized, Avène water is very soft (266 mg / l against 5,000 mg / l for city water). In addition to the minerals and trace elements it contains, studies have shown that this water also contains active molecules from a microflora called Aqua dolomiae, which partly explains its soothing and anti-irritant properties.

Born in the Alps, near Grenoble, some 2,000 years ago, the spring springs up to more than 400 meters above sea level at a temperature of 28 ° C. The Uriage spa was recognized as a public utility by the Academy of Medicine in 1877.

It is very rich in trace elements and mineral salts (calcium and magnesium), which makes it a balanced water. As for silicon, it preserves the hydrolipidic film.

La Roche-Posay thermal water, the most anti-aging
The Chevalier Bertrand du Guesclin is said to have discovered the sources of La Roche-Posay on his return from Spain at the end of the 14th century. His horse suffering from eczema would have plunged into the water and came out cured! From the 17th century, therapeutic use was made of this water from the Poitou-Charentes region. In 1869, the station was recognized of public utility by the Academy of medicine and in 1905, the first thermal center was inaugurated.
