More than 30,000 “likes” and nearly 22,000 share this postof the American Association against autism (National autism association). This is the nice surprise that was reserved for young Benjamin, 10 years old, with Asperger’s Syndrome, a form of autism.
Like the other children in his class, Benjamin had been asked by his teacher to write a poem beginning with the phrase “I am”. When he showed his poem (pictured here) to his parents, they were overwhelmed and decided to share it with the National Autism Association. The latter broadcast the poem on her social network and the “likes” have not stopped flowing since, as Benjamin’s words have touched Internet users.
Benjamin felt how much he belongs to this world
Benjamin’s father explains to the Huffington Post that “every like, every share he received made Benjamin feel how much he belongs in this world”.
