It relieves eczema
Thanks to its emollient (calming) properties, almond oil softens itchy red patches while acting on the inflammation responsible for the desquamation. “It is from its unsaponifiable fraction (which does not turn into soap) that it derives its anti-inflammatory properties, specifies Franck Dubus. It contains vitamins, wax, phytosterols (vegetable fats) and other active ingredients. ” Almond oil is swallowed (1 teaspoon per day for two to three weeks on raw vegetables) or is applied to the skin, at the rate of a few drops on the irritated areas, until absorbed.

In addition to its moisturizing side, sweet almond oil is very rich in unsaturated fatty acids (omega-6 and 9). When swallowed, they help make skin cells. First, the almond is rich in soluble fibers which will capture cholesterol in the intestine and evacuate it. Then, its unsaturated fatty acids participate in the production of “Good” cholesterol (HDL). Finally, thanks to its high level of vitamin E, it prevents the oxidation of “bad” cholesterol (LDL), responsible for deposits on the walls of the arteries. “A handful of almonds a day makes the difference.
It would protect against colon cancer
