700,000 daily cannabis consumers in France
The Ministry of Health believes that this substance represents a good alternative to real cannabis, whose damage to health is immense, and intends to put in place controls so that the substances sold comply with the law. According to the latest Health Barometer from Public Health France, a quarter of French people have used cannabis once in their life. Over the past year, one in 10 adults say they have smoked it. The French are among the largest consumers in Europe, with no less than 700,000 daily smokers.
