The crisis no longer spares the executives. According to a study by Cadremploi conducted among 3,000 executives in post, more than 6 out of 10 executives (64% exactly) affirmed their stressed in their professional life. A situation, which often lasts for more than a year which is permanent for 81% of them.
The most pessimistic executives believe that this increase in stress is due to the economic situation (42%), far ahead of the poor health of their company (29%) or the heightened competitive climate (24%). In this gloomy and tense economic context, more than one in two managers admit to being under pressure and 57% of them complain of being overworked and working overtime every day of the week.
Faced with this situation, 81% say they are ready to leave their box because of stress and 36% say they are ready to retrain. For those under 30, the way to salvation seems to be going abroad: one in four managers under 30 consider going to work outside our borders.
A few days ago, another study conducted on the quality of life in the office showed that executives suffered:
– time spent in front of their computer screen (41% think that this forced sedentary lifestyle harms their health);
– the ambient temperature of the open space, which is often a source of conflict, especially during a heat wave;
– the noise level of their workspace.
