By steaming your vegetables, you retain a lot of vitamins and minerals.

6 potatoes

1 small turnip

2 thin rib chops

2 tablespoons liquid margarine

1/2 lemon

2 teaspoons mustard seeds
Preparation
- Peel the potatoes. Boil the potatoes in a little water for about 20 minutes.
- Cut the kohlrabi into thin slices and peel them. Cut the slices into narrow strips.
- Bring 200 milliliters of water to the boil in a pan.
- Place the kohlrabi strips in a steamer basket or metal colander and place on the pan. Steam the vegetables with a lid on the pan for about 15 minutes.
- Sprinkle the pork chops with pepper. Bake the meat in the margarine for 15 minutes.
- Grate some of the outside of the lemon.
- Heat a small pan and pop the mustard seeds in it until the grains open.
- Remove the pan from the heat and add the grated lemon zest and a squeeze of lemon juice. Mix in the steamed kohlrabi.
- Add the meat and potatoes.
