Are the Stilettos dangerous to health? In Russia, vertiginous heels (like the most modest 6 cm) are demonized by a center-left political party, Just Russia. Oleg Mikheïev, a deputy of the formation, undoubtedly badly shod, wishes outright to ban them for the good of the Russian women. His proposal is however as perched as a woman on stiletto heels: allow only heels between two to five centimeters. Ballerina aficionados are no exception: the bill also excludes shoes that are too flat.
“The harmful effects of wearing very high heels and flat shoes are now recognized by experts around the world. It is necessary to change the trend”, explains the deputy in his proposal. The parliamentarian, decidedly very concerned by the feet of the fairer sex, says he is “concerned about the fate of women” suffering in their poorly adapted shoes. According to him, 40% of the Russian population is embarrassed by flat feet.
Still, the Russians are not ready to let their shoes be dictated. Some said they were ready to demonstrate on their high heels in protest.
Some shoes hurt our feet
Without wanting to put our feet in the dish, let us still concede that the too high heels damage our feet. By shifting gravity to the tips, the toes are expensive (corns, calluses, friction), and can rise higher causing pain in the knees and back. As for ballerinas, they do not support the arch of the foot and can cause plantar fasciitis.
So what are we wearing this summer? The summer shoes are far from being the best, but with some anti-bobo tips, they immediately become more comfortable. If you have the choice, you prefer shoes with small 2 cm heels.
