Uber competitor Lyft becomes the home delivery for Tinder dates
Taxi service and Uber competitor Lyft is a good one wingman. They understand that your dating skills are a bit rusty after the lockdown and without going out. They are therefore happy to give you a small encouragement, in collaboration with Tinder. If you swiped right, your match wasn’t cut off on your ridiculous opening line and he or she actually wants to meet up, you can now send your date some taxi credit. This allows your date to get to and from the date safely at your expense.
The paying party enters the destination and chooses a single journey or a return ticket. The choice probably depends on how successful the inviting party thinks it will be. An important detail: the two lovebirds cannot see each other’s address details. Netflix series you shows why that would be a particularly bad idea. In addition, your date cannot use the taxi credits to go elsewhere.
But not yet in the Netherlands
Unlike Uber, Lyft is currently not active in the Netherlands, unfortunately. And Uber is also a lot more limited here than in other countries. A collaboration between Lyft and Tinder is not yet in sight. The dating app Tinder is of course available in the Netherlands. Just set the range so that your date can get on the bike.
